Anew

With words in front of me
Falling like tears nonchalantly
Allowing you to see
Just what's built inside me
Dismantling bonds from trees
Rooted forever so firmly
And I am not my own
To sell or buy freely
Pleased to let you go
When I desperately need you
Yes even I know
You're in the river's sweet flow
The snow melting brooks
The winding petals which grow
Yes I may be new
Yet I still desperately need you
So when you let me go
Know It was a joyous show
We are not our own
And we desperately need you.
