A Salient Song

A salient song
To the soul it clings
Creations from the shore
Across the waters
Passing dreary horrors
Turning into timeless tales
Of this seems the truth
That spiders and scarabs
Reaching from youth
Honest handcraft fears
Questions in the grip of the hold,
Embracing dearest tempered memories
With a mere hope
Wrought rusty restriction
Plans prints with distinction
Spiraling uphill evermore
Towards the branches that fall
Tumbling with call
From the soul below beckoning on
It is for the standard
Or the faintest idea
Commanding or drawing
A finger arranging near
Aside the lilac sweet face
That same breath which flaws
Such a perfect impoverished perfection
Drenched in deep stemmed reflection
Caught clutching with a glance
A silver clearing inside bursts;
An outside salutation thirsts.
